Isabelle Alford-Lago is a painter and muralist based in Venice Beach, CA. She is most well known for her gorilla characters that can be seen on Abbott Kinney Blvd as well as other hotspot locations in Southern California and Philadelphia. The gorillas have opened up a world for Isabelle to draw endless inspiration from, which is something she discusses in the video above. Please join us in viewing this behind-the-scenes look at one of the art world's emerging stars. Charles Saatchi, one of the world's most important art collectors thinks so too, which is why he commissioned Isabelle Alford-Lago to paint the showcase mural inside Saatchi Art's new headquarters in Venice Beach.
