Original email for "Pumpkin Pie" exhibit (OCt. 2014)

I wanted to do something fun for the newsletter of our second exhibit, so I sent out the following message:

My new dog whiskers is lost and the artists in my next exhibit are helping me find him!*
Long story short, I rescued an adorable puppy named whiskers from a shelter in celebration of opening the gallery. But as of yesterday he's gone missing!

The last time I saw him, he was nose deep in a pumpkin pie given to us by a sweet girl named Abigail Williams. After a few bites he went into a hysterical barking fit and then rushed out the door before I could catch him.

I told the artists in my next exhibit about it and now they're helping me find him. So over the next few weeks leading up to the opening reception on October 23rd we will release videos of our quest.

"Pumpkin Pie" opens at Daniel Rolnik Gallery [1431 Ocean Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90401] on October 23rd from 7pm - Midnight.

*PS: The "Pumpkin Pie" art exhibit has nothing to do with a lost puppy, pie, or Halloween.

Believe it or not, I actually received threatening emails after I sent this out.
